Compensation: Hourly based on experience and job performance.
POSITION SUMMARY
Our Solar Installers perform onsite pre-contract site measurements as well as safe, quality and
timely installation of residential and commercial solar projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily.
PRIMARY DUTIES

Safe, Quality and timely installation of residential and commercial solar projects with
related responsibilities.

Insure project installation activities comply with company requirements as well as customer
expectations within the overall construction schedule.

Provide technical support for solar installation including participation in project planning
and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and
documentation of design conflicts; constructability reviews, etc.

Interface with customers as required. Ensure the quality of construction in support of
overall project schedule.

Follow company safety policies and practices. Ensure that work is performed in accordance
with OSHA, NABCEP and other applicable government regulations.

Ensure maximum customer respect and service on construction sites.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The ideal Solar Installer will meet most or all of the following requirements:
Understanding / experience with the installation of both AC and DC systems. NABCEP
Certification-desired but not mandatory, Electrical experience a plus, Valid driver's license &
clean driving record, Attention to detail, Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, Professional
appearance, Excellent communication skills.
Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic and be reliable, punctual and seek to contribute
to the constant improvement of your team and company.

FORMAL EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

High School or Associates Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS

Basic experience using a tablet and personal computer.

Experienced working on PC computers and having knowledge of Apple computers and software
(e.g. Numbers/Notes) is a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Safely driving company vehicles, climbing ladders, operating tools and heavy equipment,
lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other
computer components.

May require overnight stays from time to time.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS

May be required to assist other staff members as needed.
